Yunnan Garden (NTU)
Yunnan Garden at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a historic and beautifully landscaped Chinese-style garden located within the university’s Jurong campus. Originally built in the 1950s as a key attraction of the former Nanyang University, the garden has since been thoughtfully revitalised and expanded into a nine‑hectare heritage precinct that blends lush greenery, waterscapes, and cultural landmarks.
Today, Yunnan Garden features scenic walkways, themed mini gardens, a 5.6‑metre waterfall, and boardwalks around the enlarged Nanyang Lake, offering visitors a peaceful environment for leisurely strolls, relaxation, and nature appreciation. It is seamlessly integrated with the nearby Chinese Heritage Centre, making it not only a tranquil green space but also a place rich in history and educational value for students, the NTU community, and visitors alike.
