Anime Tokyo Station
Serving as the starting point for the continued growth of Tokyo's renowned anime industry, culture, and tourism.

Anime Tokyo Station, 动漫东京站

It is one of the largest animation archive facilities in Japan with over 50,000 animation production materials in storage. The animation production process, which consists of many layers of steps, is introduced in an easy-to-understand manner through carefully selected exhibits of actual planning documents, setting materials, and image boards.

“Anime Tokyo Station” was established as a new hub to showcase the charm of anime, which has become a proud industry and culture of Japan. Located in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, this facility offers a deeper understanding of the history and appeal of anime and its works. On the basement floor, you will find Japan’s largest anime archive, housing about 50,000 anime-related items. There is also a “permanent exhibition” where you can learn about anime, offering valuable materials for anime fans and researchers. On the second floor, the “Special Exhibition Room” allows visitors to “experience” anime works firsthand, enabling them to immerse themselves in the world of anime. The “Community Space” on the first floor is a place where anime fans from around the world can gather, discuss, and deepen their connections with one another.
